This page explains how Youchose chooses, writes and corrects its stories.
Sources
Every story is based on named original sources: the company or organisation making the announcement, official documents, retailer or regulator listings, or established news outlets. We link to the sources we used. When a claim comes from a single outlet or a leak, we say so and treat it as unconfirmed.
How stories are written
Articles are written from the sources listed in the story and checked against those sources for names, numbers, dates and prices. We do not copy source text; we summarise and add context.
Images
We credit the source under each image. If you own an image and want it credited differently or removed, tell us and we will act promptly.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we fix it and note the change. Report an error in the comments under the article.
Independence
We do not accept payment to publish or change a story. If a story involves a product we were given or a link we earn from, we will state it in the article.
